The sixth and final stamp of this collection is the "Albert Bierstadt: Valley of the Yosemite" stamp based on an 1864 oil-on-paperboard painting by landscape artist Albert Bierstadt. The original painting belongs to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Issued by the United States in 2008, it was the eighth issuance in the American Treasures series and is identified by US Scott Catalog #4346.
This stamp represents the sun setting on the rocky cliff-sides of the Island and the Barracks harbor after the events of Season 6. Conflicts and characters have concluded and an unknown future is in store.
Face value: 42¢.
